    Bark your calendars for the Howl, Voice of America MetroPark's costumed-canine celebration. Explore Wiggly Field with your dog, visit treat stations sponsored by friends from the local pet community and compete in the cutest costume contest Butler County has ever seen! Create canine cuisine, test out enriching toys, and spark your dog's creativity to become the next Pupcasso. The costume contest awards ceremony will begin around 6:15pm. All ages Pay at the door $5/dog participant (Human family and friends are free of charge)

  • Orienteering Trail of Treats

    October 19, 2024 11:00am - 1:00pm

    Adventure with a map! Participants get a detailed map to locate a series of control points shown on the map. Suitable for all ages, you may complete for the fastest time, or enjoy a leisurely hike using a map to explore the park. Each event offers five different courses of varying difficulty and length-there is one suitable for every adventurer. Trail of Treats is designed for young children. Upon finishing the course, children may select a prize to take home. Costumes are encouraged, but conditions may be muddy. Registration is required at ocin.org/events.php $4/child for Trail of Treats ($10/family maximum, accompanying adults FREE) $10/older children & adults for challenging courses. Multiple courses at no additional charge.
